“We predicted outright confrontation between Obama and the Jewish state for the time period after the November elections in our pre-election profile series on Obama. We then also noted the considerable influence the Rev. Wright exerted on Obama’s worldview. However, even we underestimated the degree of antagonism Obama would publicly demonstrate against Israel and the country’s leadership. He very obviously cannot help himself.”
When Obama ran his first campaign for the presidency in 2008, ABC News broke the story that Obama’s pastor of 20 years was a rabid anti-white racists and anti-Semite, the world was for five minutes stunned, but very quickly returned to previous levels of Obama adulation once the Reverend was declared persona non-grata by the campaign.
Only select voices truly held this against him, recognizing that exposing his family to the Reverend’s vile anti-White, anti-American and overtly anti-Semitic sermons could not be accidental. The evidence was, indeed, overwhelming, because the Obama family’s relationship with the Rev. Wright was not only limited to Sunday morning sermons. According to Chicago’sSun-Times, he had become Obama’s trusted confidant, and “returned him to Christianity.” One of his sermons, indeed, gave Obama the title of his second biographical book, “Dreams from My father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.”
To quote from the reverend’s linguistic gymnastics, “the chickens (have) come home to roost,” and it is becoming increasingly clear that Obama’s 20 years with the Rev. Wright were anything but accidental. The two share core-believes about their country, on race relations and about Jews. The only difference between those two friends and allies was the political environment in which they coexisted: the Reverend not only spoke his mind openly but also developed a large black following on Chicago’s South Side, which actually shared his hatred for the U.S., of whites and, of course, for Jews as well as Israel.
Obama, at the same time, was courting the big Jewish money in Chicago, like the Crown and Pritzker families, who had financed his political career in Illinois and had promised to finance his presidential run as well. He knew that any open association with those core believes that he shared with the Rev. Wright would be deadly for his presidential ambitions, not only for his campaign finances but also because of the strong influence of Jewish liberals in the Democratic Party on his primary race against Hillary Clinton.
He, therefore, immediately disassociated himself from the Rev. Wright when ABC broke the story, though he never disassociated himself from the Reverend’s ideology. Like the Rev. Wright, Obama is an Afro-centric racist who severely dislikes the white European power structure, which has ruled this country since its inception. Like the Rev. Wright, as his foreign policy so well has demonstrated, Obama dislikes what the country has stood for on a global scale for centuries; and like the Rev. Wright, Obama is an anti-Semite who hates Israel, and what it stands for.
Observing Obama’s behavior toward Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, it is clear where his motivations lie. When contrasting his attitude and behavior toward the Israeli Prime Minister with his relationships with other heads of governments, some of which are outright hostile to the U.S., we can draw obvious conclusions.
The definition of anti-Semitism is the irrational hatred of Jews. As even the liberal media has pointed out, his behavior towards Netanyahu is unprecedented and irrational. Like other beliefs President Obama shielded from the public until his reelection, he no longer sees a reason to hide his real repugnancy for Israel’s existence. Netanyahu is only a symbol for Obama’s long-standing view that Israel is the imperialistic outpost of “old” Europe in the midst of a third-world population, legitimately trying to free itself from occupation by Jews, who don’t belong in the Middle East.
This position fits into his view of the Middle East, which sees the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoots, Hamas and the Erdogan regime in Turkey, as liberation movements. He even views Iran’s current rulers as more legitimate than those of Israel because he sympathizes with their view that the U.S. caused the country irreperable harm by helping in the overthrow of Iran’s Socialist Prime Minister Mossadeg and the installment of the Shah in 1953.
This was the theme at Trinity United Church of Christ for many years while Obama, his wife and his children were listening to the sermons of the Rev. Wright, which talked about “Israelis having illegally occupied Palestinian territory,” accused Israel of “state terrorism,” and equated Israel to the South African apartheid state. Interestingly, when Obama ran out of political strategies to deal with the crisis, he publically severed his contacts with the Rev. Wright, which was also the Jews’ fault, as he pronounced in a newspaper interview, in South Side Chicago speak: “Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me.”
As recently as March 30, 2012, Rev. Wright participated in the so-called Global March to Jerusalem, an attempt by Israel-haters from all over the world to converge from neighboring countries in large numbers on Jerusalem, breaching Israel’s borders.
We predicted outright confrontation between Obama and the Jewish state for the time period after the November elections in our pre-election profile series on Obama. We then also noted the considerable influence the Rev. Wright exerted on Obama’s worldview. However, even we underestimated the degree of antagonism Obama would publicly demonstrate against Israel and the country’s leadership. He very obviously cannot help himself.
As we noted before, the expression of irrational and uncontrollable hatred for Jews is the ultimate definition anti-Semitism. We now have the Rev. Wright as our President!
